Bunco for Breast Cancer.

How long have you been holding your event?
We held our second Bunco For Breast event was in October 2008..

How has your event grown over the years?
We held our second fundraising event. in October 2008.

Do you set fundraising goals for each successive event?
Yes, we will plan to do this with subsequent events.

How much have you raised to date? $4,600 on our first event, and $4,200 on the second. So a total of $8,800.

What motivates you to organize Bunco For Breast Cancer events?
To raise awareness, encourage routine care, just keep talking about it.

Do you have a personal connection to the cause?
Yes, I lost my 49-year-old sister, Sharon, on May 11, 2007 to breast cancer.

Do you have any words of wisdom for first-time event organizers?
Pick the brains of other organizers - decide what works for you best. And don't be afraid to ask for donations - if you don't ask, you don't get!

To what extent does The Breast Cancer Research Foundation figure in your decision to hold a Bunco For Breast Cancer event?
After visiting the BCRF website and speaking to other organizers, I knew I wanted to help the Foundation.
